Project Detail

Project Description

SKRTG Engine decouples skeletal retargeting from the Unreal Engine editor and runtime. Standardized configuration and offline FBX processing make the system easier to integrate with servers, CI, and content production pipelines.

A unified Character Definition/Profile brings character configurations from UE, MotionBuilder, 3ds Max, and other sources into one workflow, reducing the cost of repeatedly developing adaptation logic for different characters and software.

Batch preflight, strict failure policies, SHA-256 data binding, and synchronized four-view review make each retargeting result verifiable and traceable, reducing rework caused by invalid assets reaching production.

A stable JSON CLI can be called by scripts, CI, internal production platforms, and AI Agents, allowing a desktop tool to evolve into team-level animation infrastructure.

Its commercial value lies in helping game, digital-human, and virtual-production teams establish privately deployable animation processing pipelines. This protects character assets while reducing the cost of dedicated UE runtime environments, manual operation, and long-term maintenance.
